Plastic surgery blog: Clothing for the fuller busted woman! Yeah!

By admin | March 22, 2010

overweight-womanWhen women think of women with large breast  it sometimes conjures up thoughts of sloppy ill fitted clothes. Cleavage busting out of a low scooped sweater.  Thanks to a local designer covered in the Dallas news recently those thoughts will soon be a thing of the past. White Rock resident Carissa Brown has never regretted her curves, which she inherited from her mother, Helene Rose. But when she was unable to find flattering woven button-ups, Brown designed her own tailored shirt with contoured seams to fit the full bust. She started selling the shirts in November 2008. Her designs, produced under the Carissa Rose label, have won national attention and were spotlighted in the February issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.    The thought of wearing a flattering button down shirt was not even a consideration for many women.
Dr’s Wilcox and Dulin are thrilled about this new line. Often times women seeking breast augmentation worry that they cannot wear button down shirts if they elect for a size larger than a D. Until now that was a legitimate worry. Most button down shirts off the shelf will fit the equivalent of a “C” size bra. This is a great opportunity to comfort patients with respect to their wardrobe choices after surgery.  Dr’s Wilcox and Dulin perform breast augmentation with a choice of incision approaches including the crease of the armpit, the belly button, in the crease underneath the breast and the areola. They also offer both saline and silicone implants.
