Plastic Surgery Blog: Breast Health
By admin | March 15, 2010
A recent local article told the tragic story of a local Dallas runner who collapsed and later died following a race on Sunday. Mark Austry was pronounced dead around noon following the Rock and Roll ½ Marathon. The race was a 13.1 mile run. This was the second running death in Dallas. In December 2008 Erin Lahr also passed out and later died due to an undiagnosed heart problem. Dr.’s Wilcox and Dulin wish the best for the loved ones after this tragic and unexpected occurrence.
The Rock n Roll ½ Marathon Sunday Morning benefited the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. 14 states and 10 countries participated. Breast health is important for women and many overlook the dangers of oversized breasts. Because of the extra weight of large breasts many women suffer from pain in their neck, back, and shoulders. Breasts that are not proportionate to the body can also cause emotional pain and body image issues as they often make the woman appear larger. Dr. Wilcox and Dulin offer the safe and effective breast reduction procedure to reduce pain and make the breasts proportionate to the body.
