Plastic Surgery Blog: Jessica Alba Dislikes her Look-Alike

A recent local article reveals that actress Jessica Alba was not flattered by a 21 year old Chinese woman who is undergoing surgery to look like her. The sad part of the story is that this woman is undergoing surgery to win back an ex lover who the girl says is “obsessed” with Jessica Alba. Alba commented on the internet buzz of the girl by stating that it was sad because if someone loves you they will love you no matter what-you shouldn’t have to change yourself.
Stories such as this one are negative on two levels-the first being the fact that someone is going under the knife to look like a celebrity and the second being the fact that the reasoning behind it all is “love.” Plastic surgery should only be a personal decision. Even if you do win “love” based on your looks you will never be at ease with the love knowing that you altered yourself for it. True love really does love you for who you are and the best candidate for plastic surgery is someone who has self love.
