Plastic surgery blog : Happiness is a choice

By admin | January 27, 2010

new_te2How many times have we heard someone in our lives (maybe ourselves) say “ I am just not happy”? A recent report on local channel 11 interviewed “happiness experts” about finding happiness and keeping it. The experts known as positive psychologist agreed that happiness must be pursued and doesn’t just happen. Experts agree that happiness is selfish in that if you’re not happy no one else close to you will be either. They also warn against “toxic relationships”, as they steal your happiness.

Dr ‘sWilcox and Dulin realize that there is a common misconception that plastic surgery patients are unhappy pathetic people who have body image issues. Nothing could be further from the truth. The overwhelming majority of patients seeking breast augmentation, facelifts, rhinoplasty and other plastic surgery procedures are often confident and stable people who have made a proactive decision to change what they do not like about their body. The large majority of patients who have had plastic surgery are extremely happy with their decision.
