Plastic surgery blog : Ft Worth seeing double?

Our local channel WFAA recently ran a story about an explosion of twins in Fort Worth. There have been 18 sets born since December 1st 2009. The hospital handles high risk pregnancies and is used to multiple births, just not so many at one time. The parents are thrilled with their double bundles.
With this trend Drs Wilcox and Dulin see more patients post multiple pregnancy. The patients are often distressed as their stomach stretched considerably to carry multiple babies. Often times an abdominoplasty will remove most of the skin, but in some extreme cases a second surgery will be needed to make the abdomen completely flat. The breast have usually become very stretched out and breast feeding two or more babies takes its toll on the breast.
